How much does a move cost?

It depends on four things: the van size, how many men you need, the stairs at each end, and the distance. The quote form asks for exactly those details, so the price you get back is the price you pay. Quotes are free, with no obligation.

How far in advance should I book?

As much notice as you can give. Full house moves between Manchester and Wales need more lead time than a single-item collection across town. Moving at short notice? Ring us anyway. If a van and crew are free, we’ll take the job.

Do you move people from Manchester to Wales, and back?

Constantly. It’s our core route: one van, one crew, door to door in both directions.

What size vans do you have?

Four: compact, medium, large and Luton. You get the right size for the job, so you don’t pay for space you don’t need.

How many men come with the van?

From driver only for quick single items up to driver plus three for a full house. The quote form asks, and we’ll advise if we think the job needs more hands.

Does it matter if I have stairs or tricky parking?

It shapes the price, that’s all. The quote form asks about flights of stairs at each end, and telling us about access up front means the crew arrives with the right plan.

Do I need to pack before you arrive?

Yes, boxes and loose items should be packed and ready. What we bring is the kit for your furniture: blankets, straps, and wrap, and everything gets loaded and placed properly.

Can you collect something I bought online or from a marketplace seller?

Yes, that’s standard man and van work. Give us the seller’s postcode, the item, and your postcode, and we’ll quote the collection.

Can you take my old sofa and other rubbish at the same time?

Often, yes. Tell us what needs to go and we’ll include it in the quote. If we can’t take something, we’ll say so before we quote.

Is the quote really free?

Really. No obligation, and the price is agreed before we load a single box.
